Transnational Academic Group (TAG) -formerly known as Transnational Education (TNE) in Africa, and Global Institute Middle East (GIME) in the UAE- works with globally renowned universities with a transnational focus to bring research driven higher education opportunities to emerging markets.
Established in 2013 in partnership with Lancaster University, TAG operates Lancaster University Ghana. TAG’s sister company, Global Institute Middle East, in partnership with Curtin University established Curtin University Dubai in 2017, and Murdoch University Dubai in 2008(in partnership with Murdoch University). Lancaster University Ghana, Curtin University Dubai and Murdoch University Dubai deliver relevant undergraduate and postgraduate programmes to students in West Africa and in the UAE.
TAG is owned and managed by a Group that focuses on building value across three major business verticals including media, education, and information technology. The Group includes, among other interests: Africa Business News, CNBC Africa, Forbes Africa, and Tech One Global.
